Job description
We are looking for a caseworker to fill a permanent position as soon as possible.
The caseworker offers short- and medium-term individual clinical counselling to victims of sexual violence and their loved ones. The objective of these counselling sessions is to provide support for victims and help them regain control of their lives.
The person we are looking for must have the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in the social sciences
- Member of a recognized Québec professional order
- Experience in working with adult victims of sexual violence, mental health, PTSD, crisis intervention, individual clinical follow-up
- Knowledge, competencies and skills in therapeutic relationships
- Knowledge of the judicial process would be an asset
- Ability to question oneself, ask for support and communicate with the team
- Autonomy, sound clinical judgement, analysis and synthesis of information, introspection and ability to adapt
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.

- 2 positions: 1 permanent position and 1 one-year temporary position
- Schedule: Four-day work week
- Hybrid remote and in-person work model
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Compensation based on MSAC salary scale, starting at $37/hour
- Four weeks’ annual vacation
